This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the AriiBen Flashcards experience, including the web version, related mobile wrappers, and connected educational features published by AriiBen.

If another AriiBen service provides a more specific privacy notice for a particular feature, that notice may supplement this policy.

What this service does

Flashcards is an educational service that allows users to sign in, access vocabulary decks, review progress, participate in learning modes, and use optional speech-based practice features.

Data we collect

Depending on the feature used, AriiBen Flashcards may collect and process:

• basic account information such as user identifier and display name
• session data needed to keep the user signed in securely
• study activity such as reviewed cards, results, scores, progress, rankings, and deck usage
• eligibility or access metadata needed to show the correct content for a user, such as course, level, or class-related access status
• speech input, speech transcripts, and pronunciation-analysis results when the user chooses to use voice features
• technical log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps for security, maintenance, and service operation

Microphone and voice features

Some Flashcards modes, such as speaking practice, require microphone access. Microphone access is optional and is used only when the user actively chooses to use those voice-based features.

When a user uses these features, audio or derived speech data may be processed to generate transcription, pronunciation feedback, grammar feedback, and other learning assistance.

Cookies and local storage

This service may use cookies, local storage, and similar technical storage mechanisms to maintain sessions, remember preferences, keep the app working, and preserve basic user experience settings. These technologies are not used for advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling.

How we use data
